In all honesty Baz I have never dismissed ipswich on here as a threat to take a top two spot but I personally didn’t think they would last the course, it’s like when Preston go on an early run went top then end up mid table, the same with other early front runners in other seasons, Bristol City, Birmingham, etc, etc and, well I thought Ipswich would be the same, but credit to them they have dug deep and stayed the course but now really is the time Ipswich to step aside and let the club that is Leeds United take their rightful place in the elite league that is the Premier League! lol ? so do the right thing please and let us win, it’s been a long hard season so put your feet up lads and get on that beach before the play offs start, I will even put a few quid behind the bar for you lads, cheers fellas much appreciated ?????????.

Baz. We all know people have bashed Ipswich, oddly enough, given we DO all read this site! You don’t need to repeat it daily! And yes, we will finish in the Top 3, which IS a fantastic achievement given the summer exodus and rebuilding required afterwards, plus the work it takes to make an almost entirely new squad gel. Liverpool's result today show how hard it is to break down a patient, well organised and focused defence.
Sometime - infact often - having too much of the ball, in todays counter attacking football, can be a bad thing. When teams come to ER we sometimes find it difficult to break them down. Having no really creative CM and no out and out goal scorer leaves us liable to a result like Saturday. Its no excuse but L 0 CP1 shows it happens to better teams than ours! Just saying!
