Under Lund here again the transfer jungle bongos are banging strong this Tuesday afternoon; Leeds rumoured to be in for numerous targets. Scouring rumour sites bringing a concise list - I'd need to know which rumours you guys think have legs.

Jared Bowen - 17 goal machine with 6 assists; our interest is no Chinese whisper. Newcastle and Leeds apparently tabled offers, Leeds' include a £3m loan fee + £15m if promoted. Newcastle offered £15m but Hull want more! They should take our offer, totalling £18m (I'd promoted) closest thing to their £20m valuation. Hull 'await' our next offer. Rather arrogant if you ask me.

Britt Assombalonga - 'Borough strikers whacked 6 goals and 2 assists so far this term he's available for £15m. Leeds allegedly keenly pushing through a deal within a week, in time for Millwall on Tuesday. Not for me this one, but I'll take anything at this point.

Andre Gray - out of favour Watford striker available for a £2m loan fee and £80k wages covered by Leeds (no chance) . Although he's barely featured for Watford his championship record is great. Noted instagram followings in recent days fan the flames of speculation Andre is coming to Elland Road. He's not exactly 'in form' is he though? Can't even get a game at Watford.

Leigh Griffiths - I like the sound of this one to be fair, though he's only got 3 goals and 1 assist for Celtic this term he's scored on average every 120 mins. Proven goal threat - but the fine print says "In Scotland" - it's no championship is it? Tough league. Why not go for Ryan Christie (17 goals 9 assists)

Adri Embarba - Ex Real Madrid youth player now Rayo Vallecano winger (27yr old) is available for £4.5m. He's got 5 goals and 6 assists this season. Always wary of players who haven't played the championship before though. We need proven Championship players not foreign league imports. and a striker first and foremost.

Let me know what you all think guys.

Yup, pretty much the same players everyone’s posted on here this morning.

Hey Gang,
It's under Lund here the transfer window is open, the jungle drums are ringing. This is what I'm hearing.

2 loan signings of no secret are Elia Caprile, young Italian Goalie and Ian Poveda of Manchester City (19) . Ian mostly appearing at u23 level, Poveda's bagged 6 in 37, plays as a winger predominantly and a striker. Perhaps loan to permanent, if they do well.

Slight rumours of Yohan Boli of Sint-Truiden (Belgian league) he's bagged 43 goals in 128 games for Sint-Truiden and so far this season 11 in 18 to sign perm as a striker. He won't cut it in championship.

Cameron Brannigan (23) league one Oxford United 5 goals 5 assists midfielder. Twitter talk slapping £5m price tags around - tell us another.

Striker Cauly Woodrow at Barnsley scored 9 so far, Barno want £7m don't make me laugh. No thanks. We want a striker.

Phil Hay wrote that FFP dictates Leeds will likely be signing a striker on loan which leaves Che Adams, David McGoldrick and Dwight Gayle rumours all preferred loan options with Che having the most legs.

We all want Che Adams I think. 22 goals last season in a poor Brum team. Let us pray.

Under Lund United

1.) 11 Jan 2020 12:26:44
If the 1st 2 are loan signings doesn't that take us back to max allowed, not sure on how many were allowed
But Adam's a must 4 me.

2.) 11 Jan 2020 12:34:22
Yes, for a maximum match day squad. But not for overall squad I beleive. The Italian keeper wouldn’t appear in the same match day squad as Meslier, not until Kiko gets banned anyway. I think we cross that bridge when we come to it.

3.) 11 Jan 2020 15:52:01
We can have as many loans in the squad as we like providing a maximum of 5 are named in the matchday squad.

Is anyone else worried Phillips will be sold in January?

Apparently wolves readying a £30m bid.

Someone fill me with confidence that he won't leave please. I'm worried he's attracting too much attention not to attract several different, large, testing January bids.

Under Lund United

1.) 14 Aug 2019 11:02:48
Nope, we have raised enough to cover FFP this season

He doesn’t want to leave

He wants Bermo to get that tattoo.

2.) 14 Aug 2019 11:26:01
If we get offered 30 million and he wants to go, I suspect he will go! We have time to be preparing and scouting other options. Might depend a lot on our league position, how likely promotion is and the size of the new contract offer.

3.) 14 Aug 2019 12:21:28
Cant see Wolves paying £30m for Philips. Shall I get some petrol in the car just in case?

You can't have it both ways - either he does well and we will benefit as a team and attracts attention or he plays badly and the team suffer and he goes unnoticed. In this league anyone that does well is likely to be targeted.

If he signs a new contract it is less likely but if he doesn't then we will need to cash in come January or lose money which I cannot see Radz doing.

4.) 14 Aug 2019 15:25:08
If we have a bad start to the season and are not in the mix at Christmas, we will see what Phillips wants to do.

5.) 15 Aug 2019 12:43:39
yes 6points clear why go . the team that plays will be hero's.

6.) 15 Aug 2019 15:35:43
If a contract is not agreed before Jan you know he is going, how else will we pay for Costa. Not down to KP this, Radz raised the bar as far as wages go so he should be one of the top earners. Think if we are in the top two in Jan he will probably get what he wants, he wants to be at Leeds when we get promoted so give him the contract.

7.) 16 Aug 2019 10:00:17
I've already told you guys his sale in January is inevitable. Radz won't turn down that kind of wonga especially if there's no signature from KP.

8.) 24 Aug 2019 15:39:04
No Championship Club would turn down 30 million!

04 Aug 2019 23:16:01
Marcelo has said that he will only sign players if he feels they will improve the squad. We won 3-1 today, I personally feel it may be a double edged sword. What if he turns round n says "we don't need no one we beat Bristol city 3-1" in argentine of course. Bristol looked poor to me, mid table. We need another striker really now roofes going, and any injuries to CB's will dislodge Philips best position for the sake of covering in defence. Casilla was all over the place, but defence played out well from the back at times. We've got 3-5 players of 15+ goal capability. I'm positive.

Regards Lundy.

1.) 05 Aug 2019 09:07:04
Just for those who are interested, the language spoken in Argentina is Spanish (although not exactly like the European Spanish) .

I agree Bristol weren't particularly impressive but they did cause us issues at the back despite a string debut from White. Casilla still an absolute liability and will cost us games I fear. I would be happier with an additional, physical CB who we could use in certain games and backup.

Was very impressed by Forshaw. he could have a massive part to play this year and his passing looked excellent.

2.) 05 Aug 2019 09:41:12
Alf

We have that big cb your wanting. Struick.

Dont see the point in spending good money on a big guy who will play 10 games a season, if we have a youngster that we can help to improve. Slowly slowly he takes over from Cooper.

If we had got promotion I would have said both Jansson and Cooper would have needed replacing (Roofe too) .
If we get promotion this year I would still say the Premiership is a step too far for Cooper so we will still need a couple of new centre backs.

No point in spending good money on guys who will only be good enough for a Championship push this season, and expensive reserves next season.

3.) 05 Aug 2019 09:44:36
We have a great record against Bristol, so feet firmly on the ground lads.

4.) 05 Aug 2019 14:19:11
Nice one axe, absolutely no point buying "good championship players" unless we give them a one year contract of course 😁.

03 Aug 2019 09:02:59
Good morning everyone it's Lundy here again. I picked up the daily star this morning which features a big double spread on Bielsa praising the passion of the club, highlighting this as a reason for staying on. We should all be proud of ourselves for creating this passionate feeling. Now onto the rumours.

Roofe is going with a medical booked for Monday with Anderlecht £5-£7m. A poll of fans suggests our preferred replacement for him would be Brentford's Neil Maupay, but paper talk this morning is pointing towards a loan move for Gayle.

Other rumours include villa's fierce interest in Philips has cooled and Bielsa states in the star article that if he's in the squad for Bristol City tomorrow he is staying.

Another rumour with legs that's been bouncing around for a couple of days is this 19yr old striker from Inter Milan, Facundo Colidio who scored 12 in 31 last season under Conte. Radz met with the inter board on Friday to discuss a potential late window swoop (£10m) , but it seems Newcastle also have their fingers in this pie.

Other talk includes a loan to buy for Ryan Kent, but he's a winger isn't he? We need a striker - oh and a CB for heavens sake!

Take care gang.

Under Lund United

1.) 03 Aug 2019 11:57:54
I think Bielsa has passion for football. He would put the same dedicated effort anywhere he goes. He did a great job last year, but some would argue not good enough. If we don’t go up this season he will go. This is why such as Roofe and Phillips don’t really have any assurances about their future, after all this could be the managers last season. Phillips maybe not as much, as he would still command a decent move away if we fail, but Roofe?

That’s the pessimism out of the way. If we can get such as Gayle and keep the team fit, we’ll walk the league!

Considering his recent form and his solidarity + goals and assists contribution so far this season - should Luke Ayling be our player of the year?

If he carries on in such a talismanic role for us, I'd say yes. I was very critical of Luke last season, and beginning of this one, but he has been superb in this run of form.

Under Lund United

1.) 07 Mar 2020 23:20:02
For me like Ayling has been our best player since he signed I love him plus he looks like a girl I went to school with so bonus points for that right?

2.) 07 Mar 2020 23:47:05
For me either white or Phillips.

3.) 08 Mar 2020 08:29:20
Did you see the stats on Ben White? Apparently he has the most interceptions of anyone in PL, Championship, German, Spanish, Italian and French leagues!
As for player of season? So many good consistent performers, but Luke very much a leader!

4.) 08 Mar 2020 08:57:41
For its 100% Ayling he’s been involved in everything, outstanding. With Phillips second on 99% let’s hope we can keep him next season.

5.) 08 Mar 2020 10:36:00
Bermo if Ayling looks like a girl you went out with you have been out with a shocker! He's not even a good looking bloke!

6.) 08 Mar 2020 12:53:48
In my defence she was a mate not a ex, but that said I would happily kiss Ayling and hump his leg the man is a god.

23 Jan 2020 09:02:04
You would think with the implications of FFP crippling Leeds' ability to sing a proven PL striker or pay decent money to get someone in, that more emphasis would be put on bringing through/ developing players?

Gray came through for Burnley (i think) Adams through at Birmingham, Bowen's come through at Hull, we have a great academy! If we can't sign em why aren't we developing them! So frustrating.

Let's see what today brings.

Under Lund United

1.) 23 Jan 2020 09:50:03
Gray joined Burnley from Brentford and probably joined Brentford from another club. Bowen started at Hereford. You raise a fair point but the examples would suggest that perhaps value and quality can be found in the lower leagues.

2.) 23 Jan 2020 10:12:16
Philips came through at leeds, Clarke came through at leeds, Milner cane through at leeds, kewel came through at leeds, rose came through at leeds, smith came through at leeds, what’s your point.

3.) 23 Jan 2020 10:26:18
You’re right. We are light on strikers coming thro from the academy!

4.) 23 Jan 2020 11:35:52
I think Che Adams came from Sheff Utd.

5.) 23 Jan 2020 13:09:07
Ffp is Radz lie a smoke screen we sell 30 million pounds worth of players in the summer and get a couple of loans in . come on guys smell the coffee.

6.) 23 Jan 2020 13:58:27
I smell the coffee, half of that 30 mill will go on Costa.

7.) 23 Jan 2020 14:52:17
£15 million for a Costa Coffee? . I need to lay off the caffeine.

8.) 23 Jan 2020 16:02:27
At the end of the season.

9.) 23 Jan 2020 17:13:31
Kumwanda, Haugland, Edmo, KunT, Would give any of these the odd game and all strikers.

10.) 23 Jan 2020 19:25:04
Costa's cost will be amortised over 4 years.

The books show that 80% of our revenue goes on wages so if that has increased this year it can easily swallow up £30mill (which will also be amortised btw - we don't get it all at once)

11.) 23 Jan 2020 21:56:59
Would be better to ask this question on 1st Feb after the transfer window.

IF and it's a big if Leeds do actually sign a quality striker ( and a couple of others ) possible top 2 but could still bottle it to finish 3rd or 4th

Without signings 7th.

22 Jan 2020 17:01:13
Bookies have Leeds odds on at 1/ 3 to sign Andre Gray, does that mean it's likely to happen or just that lots of people have bet on it happening?

Celtic want £12m for Lee Griffiths, tell us another, we want born in a field.

Saying that we offered £20m + loan fee for a PL striker yet to score a Premier League goal, even Bamford has 1 PL goal I think.

Under Lund United

13 Jan 2020 17:00:24
If we don't strengthen with a quality striker this window I will be fuming. The thing that angers me most are the stories of other teams in circulation and the players they're reportedly chasing.
Forest and Derby want Billy Sharp.
Wednesday after Wickham.

If we don't get Che Adams or Andre Gray, I'll be so disappointed in my club.
Even worse, what if someone else snaffles them?

Under Lund United

1.) 13 Jan 2020 17:35:31
Thing is Andrea won't care how disappointed you are if he doesn't spend,! as long you keep spending all's rosy.

03 Nov 2019 15:24:15
Hello gang

Can anyone clarify the situation with Ben White RE can he be recalled, sold, or do we have an option to buy him if promoted?

Just wondered if anyone knew? We can all see as loyal fans he is a key cog in our defensive mechanism this season.

Regards
Lund.

Under Lund United

1.) 03 Nov 2019 17:05:50
From what i understand we will have him until end of season unless they decide to sell him in Jan then needs arranging with new club. No clause in there for us to buy him.

2.) 03 Nov 2019 19:02:05
I read he can be recalled but really hope it was lazy journalism.

3.) 03 Nov 2019 19:22:35
From what I understand if he completes the quota of games that Brighton agreed with Leeds, then he can stay till the end of season.
Judging by the amount of games he’s playing I don’t think that will be problem.
Don’t think there a clause to buy though, but who knows, if we are promoted he might decide to leave Brighton?
They may be relegation fodder? He’s definitely a weapon would love to have him on board.

4.) 03 Nov 2019 19:23:37
No option to buy. Any recall would have to be for a very good reason (I. e parent club short of players) otherwise I think they will be happy to leave him where he is under Bielsa’s guidance and getting game time.

5.) 03 Nov 2019 19:26:01
If Orta and Radz have any sense they should turn up at the AMEX soon with minimum £35m up front in cash and insist that White stays a White.

6.) 03 Nov 2019 19:37:08
Radz and Orta? £35m? Hahahhahaha! 😂😂😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😄😃😊☺️😌😌😌😌😅😂🤣😅😂🤣😅😂🤣😂😂😂😅😂😂🤣🤣🤣.

7.) 03 Nov 2019 19:54:26
I agree George. If we get promoted we have to buy the lad. And 35 mill probably wouldn’t be far off.

It’s dry January and the transfer window that’s a damn dangerous combo.

This week I’m going scorecast 2-0 Bam Bam 1st scorer. Then a correct flutter of 4-1 or 3-0.
