This is fact, a student of mine works in s shop in leeds where leeds players often go yesterday one of the new recruits went in and he got talking to him he asked if he was playing against bradford his reply worries me " don, t know nobody knows the boss won't talk to us its a total shambles" fills you with confidence doesn, t it

That was like watching the Sunderland game all over again, even the shirts looked like borrowed Mackems kit. Brentford came to defend deep and look for a breakaway goal. Luckily we didn't give anything away today, but our perennial inability to score against a disciplined low block defence was there for all to see once again.
Let's hope for a Villa win and a Spuds Florists draw tomorrow.

Brentford defended in numbers, and fought very hard to prevent any kind of quality balls into the box. As Leeroy pointed out, DCL had little to nothing to even make an attempt on goal.
You could tell that they came to Elland Rd tonight with the intention to frustrate. Collins was getting in the ref's ear constantly to try to get Pascal sent off, and they offered virtually nothing as an out-and-out attacking threat.
It had stalemate written all over it after about 15 mins of watching.
Also, I thought the standard of refereeing in the Championship was really bad, sad to say there's not much difference in the Premiership.

Putting this out there now as I will miss the Brentford game. Absolutely useless ref. Why wasn't their player red carded? Why didn't VAR intervene for our cast iron penalty we didn't get? Why did the ref not book their players for cheating and time wasting? Thing is, we know all this will happen on Saturday.

Both Canvot and Sarr should have been booked for unsporting behaviour, childishness, forgetting they're men, and basically ignoring that this is football, not a game of rounders in the school playground. Disgraceful from the pair of them.

Ok I will put it out there and wait for the abuse DCL is overrated his first touch let's him down and a few times today he messed around too much so the opportunity was lost, yes he scores poachers goals but for me not good enough.

OK yes he does miss some but what striker doesn't even prem strikers miss but at least when fit Bamford gets into position to miss and score whereas piroe does not also appears doesn't like to shoot.
