That horrendous red top reporting that Leeds are among several clubs interested in Amario Cozier-Duberry after an impressive loan spell at Bolton. Hull City, West Ham and clubs in France and Germany are also monitoring him.

Club were very hopeful on Trafford BUT have moved closer to Suzuki now.

New manager at City may have changed Trafford's direction as he loves a GK who can play with their feet and that is not Donnarumma.

Stories that Everton are now interested in Darlow as well as Manchester United. If Alf is right and he's not demanding to be no.1 but wants a wage increase, then he'll wait for the offers, play clubs off against each other, and probably get what he wants. That's fair enough - he's towards the end of his career and wants to make as much as possible. This should have been sorted much earlier.

What concerns me is we are not good at dealing with players' contracts. We don't tie players down when we should, those we do we often overpay, we agree to ridiculous relegation clauses, which means we may have to loan them out, and we often underprice them when they are sold or we hang on and their value goes down. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but we do make some bad decisions.

Struick deal done and dusted, officially announced on the LUFC website. Tomorrow, I hope we will also be saying that the Wilson deal is completed. We need to get to work now as two left sided CB's are required. Fair play to Brighton, no messing about getting their man.

Brighton don't mess around. Pascal is probably their third signing.

We needed to get the deal done and dusted before Jun 30th so that it was within the PSR accounting window that ends on that date.

Fair point, JR.

01 Jul 2026 06:40:12
Exactly, JR. If anything, we were the ones speeding the deal through. Other clubs have already been fined. We avoided one, supposedly, by completing this deal.

Sounds like it’s rumoured we have looked at Lloyd Kelly but no firm interest.
It’s a no from me.

Brandt would be good but I just don’t see us getting over the line.

Suzuki looks decent but I’m not convinced we need to spend that budget on a keeper at moment? Unless we get some money from Perri.

Sounds like we are still in negotiations with Charles from Southampton.

Agree with all you have said here, and it stacks up with what I am hearing (although conflicting stories re keeper) .

Sell on clause included in the deal that's seen Pasc sign for BHA. No idea of percentages from anything I've read.

From what Graham Smyth says in the YEP, it's 10% - if what he says is accurate.

27-year-old Burnley striker (who can also play AM) Zian Flemming linked with a possible £25-£30m price tag. Scored 11 times last season which isn't a bad return in that Burnley side.

I like his physicality and work rate, but I wouldn't want to go much over 15 mill tbh.

3

30 Jun 2026 12:34:37
He's decent but not at that price.

2

30 Jun 2026 13:16:15
Fleming came to Burnley basically as an AM for about £7m. He'd played up front before but Burnley decided his best position was as a striker.
They've a bloated squad, a lot of players on their way out, massive debt and no manager. (Bellamy wouldn't come because he couldn't bring his own staff-too expensive) .

The Americans are only interested in the money, not the Club.
Fleming is liked by the fans and I would have hoped that he'd be available for about £15m but Burnley paid £20m for Broja who's a donkey. Did they overpay for Broja? -yes. Will they expect similar or better for Fleming? -probably.

15 million is his mark.

Show me a striker who has a better return in the EPL that costs £15m. I'll wait.

Lloyd Kelly of Juve are of interest to Leeds according to Marco Conterio (Italian sports journalist) . The Englishman plays as a CB but can also play LB.

Jeez I hope not!

According to Calciomercato in Italy,
Leeds United are ahead of Aston Villa in the battle to sign 23-year-old Japan goalkeeper Zion Suzuki from Serie A side Parma.

29 Jun 2026 14:27:16
Prefer the derby bloke tbh. But motorbike is better than Perri. Not sure either would agree to be back until, if Darlow is given the first choice nod, which I expect, he woulda been to see off Devon interest.

1

29 Jun 2026 15:26:27
Apparently Darlow wants to stay at Leeds, partly due to him and his family being settled here, and also being with his Welsh teammates, but not necessarily pushing for 1st team football. He mainly wanted better wages.

2

29 Jun 2026 15:56:51
There's absolutely no way we spend £25-30m on Suzuki to be back up to a 35-year-old Darlow.
I wouldn't be too surprised to see Perri or Gnonto go the other way to "cheapen" the cash involved in any deal.

2

29 Jun 2026 16:25:47
I quite fancy the Freiburg goalie Noah Atubolu, but he's also rated at £25M. However, Freiburg want to sign Willie Gnonto, so some sort of PX deal could be possible.

Apart from Darlow our recruitment of keepers over the last few years has been abysmal. I don't think Perri is a total lost cause at the moment but FGS just strike a deal with KD and shut down the rumours that we're about to spend £25 m plus on a replacement.

There are other areas that need more urgent attention and cash.
Fabrizio Romano confirming that the Harry Wilson deal is now done?

27 Jun 2026 23:05:30
Apparently we have accepted a £20m offer for Struijk from Brighton.

27 Jun 2026 23:36:31
Go get Natan from Betis.

1

28 Jun 2026 00:18:31
Good profit, as he came as a kid, but it will cost us that to replace him without getting one of the freebies we've been linked to.

2

28 Jun 2026 03:33:55
Shocking fee.

0

28 Jun 2026 06:28:34
Only 1 Yr left. Better than a freebie next season. 25 would've been an absolute max under these circumstances. Money in the bank!

28 Jun 2026 07:02:15
It's had the here we go from Fabrizio so must be true ha ha.

3

28 Jun 2026 08:37:52
It was always likely to happen, with the rumours swirling around and no comment from the club re extending his contract.
There may be offers from other clubs which might push the price up a bit, but £20/25m is fair with one year left and probably wanting a move.

The good thing is that it's happening early, which should give us plenty of time to find a replacement.
Players don't stay forever nowadays and he's been a good asset for Leeds over many years and cost very little. Hopefully he'll leave on good terms with the fans and the Club.

6

28 Jun 2026 13:50:44
His book value is £22M, so £20M with a few add-ons (international appearances etc) and a 15-20% sell-on fee is OK. Better £20M now than diddly in 12 months time.

1

28 Jun 2026 14:02:39
If he doesn't want to wear the white shirt, then good riddance to him.

4

29 Jun 2026 07:48:09
JR, what do you mean by book value?

0

29 Jun 2026 10:23:21
Has he ever actually been booked? Don't think he is fast enough. Apart from Elliot, and even that wasn't a foul.

1

29 Jun 2026 11:13:49
Corkey, that figure came from Transfermarkt.
I couldn't think of a better word to describe it.

29 Jun 2026 13:26:23
👍 JR.
