I know every game is a big game but I really think tomorrow night's game is massive and a must not lose game. With Florists and Spam winning this weekend, it has well and truly put the cat amongst the pigeons. I really think we have every chance of getting the 3 points especially with Dewsbury-Hall and Grealish missing.
We definitely need something from this one as the Gooners will be hoping to get back on track after today's embarrassment.

We will probably draw and then lose the next four games.

I was in a b and b i Bournemouth way way back in the day. Typical fawlty towers joint. Thought a sausage and buttered bread was a cooked Brekky. Anyway.
After 3 sherbets too many. I got up in the night and for some reason thought the toilet was down the hall. But it wasn’t. Flying half mast after a semi decent dream I walked into. Believe it or not the owners mums room.
All hell broke loose. Screams. People running down the hall wondering what’s going on. Later in the night I settled for the walk in robe rather than trying to find the outside toilet. Maybe that’s why I only got a sausage and piece of bread.
Footnote. Pretty sure after the initial mums scream there was a mmmm of admiration ??
That’s jackanory for tonight.

How to raise funds to bring in 2/ 3 quality players in Jaunary. Sell all of the following for a cut price deal of around 5 million each. Meslier, Wober, Joesph, Gelhardt, Harrison, Arronson, Piroe and whatever we can get for schmidt. That's 35 odd million and a huge saving on wasted wages. Bring back Soloman on loan and get an attacking midfielder and a striker.

You can't "just sell" players; they are in contract and so remain at the club, playing or otherwise, unless someone comes in and makes an offer that works for the club and the respective player.
If I am being paid £50K a week [£100K a week for some], then I am not going to forfeit my contract unless someone comes in and offers more or near with game time.
Like Aft says above, you can't just accept the losses because that messes up the PSR calculations and that in itself impacts bringing new players in.

Most of these players will likely be surplus to requirements and the likely option for most of them will be loan outs with the option to buy. I can’t see any quick profit making sales with any of them. Like Alf mentioned the profit and sustainability will be a issue otherwise as they will very likely be sold for a loss than a profit.

DCL offers plenty and is big upgrade on Bamford. He is stronger, better in air and can pass the ball 5 yards. I always had a soft spot for Bamford, but his first touch and passing were dreadful, DCL much better. BA scored a lucky goal and had 1 nice run last night and suddenly he has changed everyone's mind? I still think he is pony.
Was Stach rested or dropped? He has been a let down lately, initially I thought he was going to be our most important player this season, verdict still out on this on.

Bamford has some really good attributes but like DCL scoring goals regularly is not one of them. Injuries is what they have most in common.
Bang on Dec regarding BA. He is still proper pony!
I believe Stach Ao and Amps are the best combination and Longstaff and Gruev as back up. Longstaff has had two good games and a couple of poor ones.
The best midfield performance was the opening game against Everton when Ao Stach and Amps were excellent.

I share your sentiment Oldbri, it's a massive gamble to not add to the squad in Jaunary after our underwhelming recruitment in the summer, if we get relegated, there will be an uprising. We have seen how hard it is to get into the Premier League, they should be throwing 'every last penny' to stay there!

I'm not a Guinness drinker myself but well believe it was muck, the Carlsberg was like piss anyway! Yeah getting out the stadium was painful with the railway line crossing, it was as slow as most of Schimt's reactions to the ball near him yesterday. I see a much stronger looking AC Milan got hammered by Chelsea today, but that's tough going trying to play 2 friendlies in 2 days.
