Where's Bogle? Don't tell me he is going to Everton?

Decfromdublin

1.) 04 Jan 2026 12:21:38
I'd assumed not 100% fit with not starting last game but who knows.

2.) 04 Jan 2026 13:42:15
Really hope not! Great attitude and application! Hoping it's just a slight niggle from the other night.

3.) 04 Jan 2026 14:47:19
It's a minor calf strain.

4.) 04 Jan 2026 16:12:39
Some rumours saying he may be sold.

5.) 04 Jan 2026 16:54:18
I'd be very surprised if he's going anywhere in January. We're not overloaded in that area. and we'd miss his dynamism. If we need to sell there are other areas where we can offload.

6.) 04 Jan 2026 20:28:07
Just had a knock.

24 Aug 2024 17:34:48
Ilias Chair being mooted now, he would be a class signing.

Decfromdublin

1.) 24 Aug 2024 19:21:04
Acquire ? and the league is ours.

2.) 24 Aug 2024 20:59:12
Surely click bait that one.

3.) 24 Aug 2024 21:46:10
Hope this rumour has legs.

4.) 25 Aug 2024 00:05:41
Chair legs?

It's all about today chaps, gutted I couldn't get my hands on ticket but this is life. I hope Bogle is fit as Rodon looked way off the pace the other night. I have a sneaky suspicion Stach is going to be involved, maybe wishful thinking but really think we could do with him even just for his free kicks alone.

Just really hope we should up and give a good account of ourselves. I haven't looked for to a match like this in a long time ?.

Decfromdublin

1.) 26 Apr 2026 10:26:15
Think, based on Tanaka's form, I'd prefer to leave him in over a potentially below-par Stach. Rodon was poor when coming on, and that's what I'd fear from Stach.

Unless Rodon has been exceptional in training, I think I'd leave him out too. Some believe Struijk had his best game recently, and Jaka is currently in good form. We offer more attacking threat when Bogle plays RWB over Justin, but for me Justin plays over Bogle, meaning I'd stick with the same back 5 and leave Rodon out (who usually is our best defender) .

Perri in goal.

DCL up top, with Okafor and BA off him.

Not today, but I'd ideally like to see Tanaka replace BA in that engine room, as I don't think Stach is fit enough for it. It leaves room for Amps and Stach to play behind.

2.) 26 Apr 2026 11:10:45
Bogle was shocking other day, lads. ???

3.) 26 Apr 2026 11:14:58
Tanaka has been excellent the last few games, but his dead-ball deliveries have been poor. I just think if Stach is anyway fit, it is worth a gamble for dead-ball deliveries alone. Rodon, if fully fit, would be my first on the team sheet, but he looked slow and rusty the last game.

Struijk has been immense lately. I know a few on here can't stand him, but he has been more than dependable of late.

Whoever Farke picks will hopefully just give it their all, that's all we can really ask for.

4.) 26 Apr 2026 11:36:43
Definitely start the same outfield players .. Rodon and Stach on the bench.

25 Jan 2026 18:55:32
I know every game is a big game but I really think tomorrow night's game is massive and a must not lose game. With Florists and Spam winning this weekend, it has well and truly put the cat amongst the pigeons. I really think we have every chance of getting the 3 points especially with Dewsbury-Hall and Grealish missing.

We definitely need something from this one as the Gooners will be hoping to get back on track after today's embarrassment.

Decfromdublin

1.) 25 Jan 2026 19:05:37
We will probably draw and then lose the next four games.

The gap will dwindle and fans will panic. Don't worry about it.

We have an easy run of games after that where we will sort ourselves out. Leeds aren't getting relegated this season.

2.) 25 Jan 2026 20:01:05
Well Dec I think in the next few weeks there are going to be a lot of cats and pigeons, who is who is the question. All games are big here on in. But I would say, who is going to want to play LUFC at the moment? Especially at ER.

Don't agree MoT, sorry, we have every chance of winning our next 5. Its a game at a time, get what we get and move on. This team is more than capable of giving anyone a game at the moment.

3.) 25 Jan 2026 20:12:35
I often think it's about when you play teams, for example, United, a few weeks ago, yeah good opportunity, now, who wants to play em? Palace, Spuds, teams will sense a weakness. Leeds, hmmm, tough ask, November, easy meat. Runs of form, confidence, so important.

4.) 25 Jan 2026 21:41:34
On paper vid, a newly promoted club will struggle against incumbents. It's not that I want us to lose, or believe we will, but I'm airing on the side of caution that if it does happen, it isn't a big deal.

5.) 25 Jan 2026 22:35:35
Oh ye of little faith Mo. I think we have every chance of 3 points v Florists, and maybe sneak a draw in any of the other 3. I'm hoping for at least 4 points from those 4 games. ?.

6.) 25 Jan 2026 22:26:43
Still others we need to watch tomorrow - Garner, Ndiaye and Barry.

7.) 26 Jan 2026 00:12:20
We have every chance and I have every faith, but if we don't do as well as we would have hoped, there's no reason to wet the bed.

If we do well, great, if not, it'll be fine.

8.) 26 Jan 2026 02:30:33
I will prob wet the bed cause I like complaining and throwing my toys, but as I said yesterday. We have got easier run in than the others imo.

9.) 26 Jan 2026 07:30:28
There's never a reason to wet the bed Mo, but some of us are just incontinent, ok! ?.

10.) 26 Jan 2026 10:30:52
Wetting the bed is preferable to getting out of it to slash while leathered. It's not going in the bowl so may as well contain it betwixt the sheets.
Easier for our lass to clean it then.

I'm considerate like that.

11.) 26 Jan 2026 13:27:00
I was in a b and b i Bournemouth way way back in the day. Typical fawlty towers joint. Thought a sausage and buttered bread was a cooked Brekky. Anyway.
After 3 sherbets too many. I got up in the night and for some reason thought the toilet was down the hall. But it wasn’t. Flying half mast after a semi decent dream I walked into. Believe it or not the owners mums room.

All hell broke loose. Screams. People running down the hall wondering what’s going on. Later in the night I settled for the walk in robe rather than trying to find the outside toilet. Maybe that’s why I only got a sausage and piece of bread.
Footnote. Pretty sure after the initial mums scream there was a mmmm of admiration ??
That’s jackanory for tonight.

12.) 26 Jan 2026 17:38:44
?????.

Strange line up that, hope it doesn't back fire.

Happy new year comrades, can't wait for today's game, a couple of weeks ago I would of feared a pasting from pool, but now I genuinely think we can get at least a point from it, here's hoping!

Decfromdublin

1.) 01 Jan 2026 16:47:12
Even with a raft of changes made, I still feel oddly positive about tonight.

2.) 01 Jan 2026 16:52:04
Not with this line up Dec, hope I'm wrong!

3.) 01 Jan 2026 17:15:53
A slightly strange starting lineup.

How to raise funds to bring in 2/ 3 quality players in Jaunary. Sell all of the following for a cut price deal of around 5 million each. Meslier, Wober, Joesph, Gelhardt, Harrison, Arronson, Piroe and whatever we can get for schmidt. That's 35 odd million and a huge saving on wasted wages. Bring back Soloman on loan and get an attacking midfielder and a striker.

Decfromdublin

1.) 15 Dec 2025 13:22:51
Harrison unlikely to go due to wage demands. we're probably still paying for some of those (Aaronson I imagine, possibly Piroe) so its not as simple as just dropping the price or we take PSR losses.

2.) 15 Dec 2025 16:48:53
You can't "just sell" players; they are in contract and so remain at the club, playing or otherwise, unless someone comes in and makes an offer that works for the club and the respective player.

If I am being paid £50K a week [£100K a week for some], then I am not going to forfeit my contract unless someone comes in and offers more or near with game time.

Like Aft says above, you can't just accept the losses because that messes up the PSR calculations and that in itself impacts bringing new players in.

3.) 15 Dec 2025 17:04:04
£90k a week for JH. Is anyone likely to offer him that elsewhere?

4.) 15 Dec 2025 18:38:55
Why we turned down £25 million from Leicester I think it was I will never understand.
Same goes for Meslier. £16 million offer not accepted.
That’s some coin to buy at least one top notch addition and probably two.
This board has a lot to learn.

5.) 15 Dec 2025 19:13:48
Cool the jets lads, I was only trying to say I'd love to just get rid of the players who have no future with us. By offering a lower price of 5 million, the buying clubs might be willing the pay the wages these are on, fair enough about Harrison's but the rest wouldn't out of reach for most top European leagues.

6.) 15 Dec 2025 19:33:03
I hear Haaland has fallen out with pep and is up for sale cut price 40 mil. ??.

7.) 16 Dec 2025 08:08:13
Most of these players will likely be surplus to requirements and the likely option for most of them will be loan outs with the option to buy. I can’t see any quick profit making sales with any of them. Like Alf mentioned the profit and sustainability will be a issue otherwise as they will very likely be sold for a loss than a profit.

100 % agree. Not even a goal or an assist in the league all season, a few great runs, but no end product. Don't get me wrong, he has been good, but not player of the season for me either.

Got my tickets today, can't wait. Should be a cracking atmosphere, hopefully no fighting though, as I will have my little daughter with me, but if needs be, she is well able to throw a slap or 2.

I share your sentiment Oldbri, it's a massive gamble to not add to the squad in Jaunary after our underwhelming recruitment in the summer, if we get relegated, there will be an uprising. We have seen how hard it is to get into the Premier League, they should be throwing 'every last penny' to stay there!
