Not a fan of signing a striker as a priority anymore, to be honest. We have 3. Okafor is a good 9, converted to a winger. We also have enough attacking players that could play without a 9 if needed. DCL getting injured is a big concern. Ampadu getting injured puts it in the halfpenny place.

A marquee 6/8 that can both cover and play beside Ampadu is the biggest upgrade this team can get right now imo. We would constantly have 3 class mf on the pitch every single game. That's a far bigger impact than a 9 on the bench.

Talking of Okafor, what a surprise to hear that Sunderland made an offer for him of £30-35M. Happy that both the club and the player turned it down flat. I agree that in the absence of a new/additional No 9, Okafor can now play further inside with a natural left winger in Bahoya.

I watched our game on telly, with one eye on Sheffield on me laptop, Darlow got lucky, we got three points and my pants got soiled. Damaged beyond repair. Extra time of both games nearly took me ticker out too.

Hi all.

Just read that Radz waiving over £21m that he loaned the club is why we have posted profits of £25m, a pretty generous move for someone who may think should put his hands in his pockets more often. He didn't publicise it either. I think that as Leeds fans we are whilst amongst the loudest and most passionate of supporters, we can also be some of the most overcritical. Anyhow, ALAW, MOT.

Good on him. As much as people want to moan and begrudge, he's running this club well and sustainably and not into the ground, as previous owners have done.

Don't have to agree with everything he does, but the least we can do is acknowledge when he does something positive.

Alf - by loan from Radz, it probably means working capital from his Aser Ventures holding company, providing liquid cash to cover various necessary expenditure, whether investment in new players, or wages for players or non playing staff etc etc. Aser Ventures will have written off the debt. As a loan between holding and subsidiary companies there was probably no interest involved anyway.
