Torino thought they had a cheap deal for Orlando Gill all sealed up, but his performance at the World Cup has pushed up interest and the price. They haven't the money, so agree with Aus that they likely want a loan deal.

I know it's the World Cup, but everything seems so low key in all positions - apart from Charles, there's been very little sustained rumours about any incomings, and nothing about shipping out some of the ones we don't want such as Wober and Harrison. Also, need some progress on BA and his contract. Still time, but a bit concerning.

I don't think we need a new keeper, so I hope the club assure Darlow he's number one, and we concentrate on more important positions.
If the rumours on Waccoe about Okefor are true, and we sell him for 25 million, then we will need at least two more forward players signed before the new season starts, in addition to Harry Wilson.

We all know that we need a good striker. A good am and a cb. Minimum. Depends on who goes and stays, etc. Darlow will sign. So get a backup for 2-3 positions. Spend the rest on starters. Okafar for 25. Seems reasonable, with add-ons. Keep large.

Well, bidding is the wrong term, really, as he is a free agent, but we have been in contact with Brandt and offered a very good contract, which would put him level top earner.

As far as I understand, we are not his first choice (ideally he wants CL football) , so he will see what other offers he gets, I would think, and weigh up where it is, what level it is, and how much they pay.



There is an outside chance, but I won't be holding my breath on this one.
