Rumours that Valencia have cooled on Ramz and that Burnley are in talks for a deal.
They're in for a few players at the moment to strengthen the squad but look like Fleming is on his way out.

Lille have moved on from Fleming to Ueda and agreed a €15m fee but Ipswich have made a bid for the Burnley striker. Not accepted but talks under way.

If a player has a 50% sell on fee and we sell a player for £5mil, the team gets £2.5mil.

Now, if we loan a player with a £5mil loan fee and they take him free of charge at the end of the season, does this same team get £2.5mil still. 🤷‍♂️

Some % sale fees are only included for so many seasons, so maybe next season the clause ends.

We were happy to loan Piroe out this season, according to some, as we can use the funds next year towards SCR. Are we doing the same with Gnonto?

Or are we thinking Gnonto could be a great player with a full season under his belt and actually want him back next year?

Have we finished buying for the season (subject to league position in Jan) , or do we already have the headroom this year for the player/s we are looking to bring in?

None of us actually know any of these answers.

All I know is you can't please everybody all the time, and people will moan irrespective of the deal we do or don't do.

We accommodate the player going around with us, making other clubs happy that they've got sorted. Willy couldn't have been on big money, so unless we have a replacement lined up, this seems a backward step.

There doesn't seem to be any one else but Mudryk in the press at the moment. The big sticking point is that Chelsea want guaranteed game time. My view is that, if he's good enough and fit enough, he'll get it. If not, he warms a bench at best. Imagine if that clause was in Buananotte's loan agreement. 😮☹️

Need not to be Leedsy and leave till last hour. Have 2 days and still rumors of Mudryk. Need to have answer today and if a no or not had ok from Chelsea, pull out and move onto others. For me I’d definitely go for Matheus Mane.

I have been saying him for 2 months, young and can play different positions. Still then need a striker which looks tough; wasn’t over keen but would now take Flemming.

We're about 90%, just over the 85% limit on SCR. We can still go to 115% without penalty, but would have to claw it back over the next two seasons. The main thing is to ensure we stay up, have a decent squad going forward, and build on the two years in the Premier League.


We're probably one of the teams with the highest SCR at the moment, as we've made significant outlays and very little from sales.

Correction. We stand 10th on SCR with £44m headroom. The ones who are supposedly over the predicted red limit at the moment are Chelsea and Bournemouth, who are about 128%.
The ones who have a lower % are basically the rest of the big 6, including Spurs (who all voted for SCR) , Sunderland and the three promoted teams.

Bournemouth's problem is income. £7m on gate receipts, and £27m on commercial/sponsorship. Our comparative figures are £31m and £58m. The ER expansion should add £20m plus.
Bournemouth should be concerned if they get into Europe. The SCR will fall to 70% from 85, and although income will increase, so will expenditure.

More squad players will be required, and wages will probably go up, as contract clauses related to European qualification kick in.
That's why they have to keep selling, and may well have to let someone else, maybe Brooks, go if they are to get back to 115% SCR.
