Bogle is one of the best players we’ve got, hard working always trying to create moves and definitely has talent. He’s so important to our team that I dread the thought of him missing games through injury or suspension.

It's a big game and a big big ask, but, if Nmecha is injured, maybe just maybe chuck Harry on with DCL. Smiffy started young, smashed a goal away to Lazio in our European adventure. When is a good time? Would be worth the risk I think.

It's a bit mind boggling to think, but this week's trio of games that looked so daunting could actually turn out to be The turning point of our season. Expected zilch but if we play the same tomorrow and have two an a half superb performances, well, who knows what we can achieve.

Win and get to 17 points tomorrow and all of a sudden we are in a strong position to keep our status with confidence high. This is SO Leeds, this is why we are Leeds, Wednesday night was just everything brilliant about being Leeds.

Yes vid. Funny old game really. It got me thinking of a hypothetical scenario, where if Farke had gotten his jotters after the villa game, like a lot of fans were calling for, and we had appointed some other coach for the city game, and after watching the first half of the city game, thought bugger this, and completely changed the formation for the second half.

We win the second half 2-1, then go on and completely out play Chelsea with a 3-1 victory, the new coach would be hailed as a tactical genius and our saviour. No more of the desperate Dan type football, welcome to the tactical Dan! We’re a right fickle bunch. I certainly am!

It was just a thought Aus, that if a new coach had came in when we were all shouting for it, and had the team playing like we have in the last game and a half that, we would all be thinking what a breath of fresh air. And I agree his hand has been forced, hence jokingly posting that he obviously reads the banter.

(Not! ) but I’m not giving a monkey’s chuff if farke’s granny is sorting out the team and tactics, carry on doing it. No tippy tappy backwards passing, no BA, just going at the opposition from the off. Hopefully we assume the same against pool today.

Interesting to see what the impact of going to 3-5-2 has on the squad and recruitment. All of a sudden, DJ injury not so damaging, where would he play if fit? Ditto Willy, though I guess he could feasibly play a 10 role akin to Okafor. Piroe all of a sudden has more chance as cover for the 2 amigos.

Can't see BA fitting and JH no chance imo. JJ and Sam now more vital as cover at wing back and Bornauw now is important for back 3. definitely need a quality striker, no wingers required. Mid looks well supported, another CB maybe. Intriguing times!

Buy a versatile JJ style wing back, another midfielder and a striker/ CF.

Sell Mes and JH by all means, if customers can be found, but don't expect to get much for them.
So where do we need to recruit? We've got 2 GKs, 3 decent wing backs plus SB as an emergency spare, 4 CBs and 5 DM/ CMs, so we're reasonably covered in those areas. What we need most is a half decent striker to mix and match with Nmecha and DCL and a No10/ AM to finally fill the void left by Pablo.

If we can't do that (and that's unlikely in the Jan window) I'd keep Piroe and Gnonto unless we get offerz that are hard to refuse. And if anyone makes an offer for Harry Gray, tell them to go forth and multiply!

Can sort of see why you could be either way Ed001 and reading your previous assessments of Liverpools season to date, you cannot be certain which Liverpool will turn up, incredible based on your preseason investment but I suppose it proves it takes time to embed new signings into a new system.

Likewise for us I would say, if we can play sane formation and same team (for as long as possible) think we can surprise you.

If we revert to 4 at the back and ba starting I would not be very optimistic.

It's looking like a draw. Ineffective Liverpool out of form vs a tired Leeds side. I can see two scrappy goals a piece with both sides winding down by the late stages of the second half, leading to 15 minutes of uninterested football from Liverpool and knackered footie from us.

It's funny because if slot gets hammered, he is probably sacked and if Farke gets hammered, he is probably sacked.

It'd be typical Leeds luck if Liverpool suddenly find their form tomorrow, so I'm hoping for the best but fearing the worst. Wirtz has been showing flashes of why they paid £100M+ for him in the last 2 games, and Salah has been a bugbear to us so fingers (and everything else) crossed. My sentiments exactly JR. salah like shearer did, immensely talented goal scorers, always seem to up their efforts another notch against us. Hopefully Rodon, Bijol or pascal do an old fashioned Norman Hunter on him, and let him know you’re there son, type of tackle on him, early in the game.

I keep watching the MOTD highlights over and over. What a magical match. Maybe on par with the Sunderland/ sheff utd victories last season.

Watching the spoiled man babies not get the ref to play for them was great. And their goalie throwing a wobbly after each goal 😂😂😂
