Anybody know why there is press speculation that the players aren't going to be paid today with the PFA on red alert? Is there any truth or is it just the press trying to sell papers?
1.) I would imagine it is to do with the clubs bank account being frozen due to the winding up order due to be heard june 9th, probably speculating because of that. Perhaps MC has something in place to sort it through some other way, doubt he would want not to pay them.
2.) Also has meeting has been called and reporters have assumed it is due to none payment. I can't see mc calling people back from hoiliday to say he ain't paying them, I think it will be about brian going and to introduce them to the new manager benito carboni who has been very vocal recently. if this is the case will be dissapointed brain has to go but many managers much better than benito still must be given a chance I guess mot
3.) Because the clubs bank account is frozen and FL rules say that players cannot be paid from a personal account

Absolutely CJ. Under the cosh for a lot of that game, which is hardly surprising as it's a massive game for the Blues.

Think its more likely that Carbone is here for the first team coach's position, soon to be made vacant. For all those who say we'll never get someone to fill a coaches role because who would want to be less than a manager, I say we'll find someone who is used to operating that way and there are plenty of them just not the big names Leeds fans think we deserve.
What make anyone think BMD will be involved in any aspect of player recruitment?
