Anybody know why there is press speculation that the players aren't going to be paid today with the PFA on red alert? Is there any truth or is it just the press trying to sell papers?
1.) I would imagine it is to do with the clubs bank account being frozen due to the winding up order due to be heard june 9th, probably speculating because of that. Perhaps MC has something in place to sort it through some other way, doubt he would want not to pay them.
2.) Also has meeting has been called and reporters have assumed it is due to none payment. I can't see mc calling people back from hoiliday to say he ain't paying them, I think it will be about brian going and to introduce them to the new manager benito carboni who has been very vocal recently. if this is the case will be dissapointed brain has to go but many managers much better than benito still must be given a chance I guess mot

CJS, totally respectfully disagree about the Blades! I give DF and the entire squad all the credit. They have been under immense pressure the last few weeks from all supporters and have showed passion for our Badge last two games. We had Tanaka and Rodon in tears afterwards, that says a lot about what it means to them. I'm one of DF main critics but have always said I will give him credit when its due.

A season is 46 league games minimum in the Championship. There are many ups and downs along the way, injuries, suspensions, wins, losses and draws and different kinds of pressure and runs of form throughout. There have been plenty of fans who foresaw a Blunts implosion and that is the result of all these factors, not just taking a few results in isolation. Most teams have a blip in form and Blunts is long overdue. Part of that is due to the pressure we have heaped upon them throughout so credit to ourselves. Of course, we haven't finished the job yet so let's not get too carried away.

Think its more likely that Carbone is here for the first team coach's position, soon to be made vacant. For all those who say we'll never get someone to fill a coaches role because who would want to be less than a manager, I say we'll find someone who is used to operating that way and there are plenty of them just not the big names Leeds fans think we deserve.
What make anyone think BMD will be involved in any aspect of player recruitment?
